Happy Holidays - Meet Edith from South Carolina!
1. Name & Age: Edith "Edie", 5-years-old
2. Hometown: Johns Island, South Carolina
3. Tell us a little bit about yourself & daily routine: Edie is in preschool at our local public Montessori school, she loves her teachers and classmates. She wears a uniform to school, but we love to find little ways to jazz it up with fun hair bows or cute knee high socks.

4. Hobbies & interests: Edie loves cats and she loves to visit the cat cafe in downtown Charleston. She likes to play with her toys, baby dolls, and to play games, especially Memory. She loves to play outside, riding on her scooter, and riding bikes with dad.
5. How did you discover Pink Chicken? When Edith was a baby, I discovered Pink Chicken at a local kids consignment boutique called "Tiny Tadpoles." I found an adorable Pink Chicken dress, and from then on I’ve been obsessed. Thankfully we have a local Pink Chicken store in Charleston so we are able to see all the beautiful dresses when we are downtown.

6. Favorite Pink Chicken piece you own: Our favorite Pink Chicken outfits are the birthday animals dress that Edith wore for her 5th birthday party. Ever since Edith was a busy little baby, we’ve called her our little squirrel, so it’s special that the birthday dress has a squirrel holding a birthday cake! It’s also a great style because it will fit her for a few years!
7. What do you love about your special holiday dress? We love the pink organza dress with candy canes because it is so girly and sweet. It reminds us of Clara from the Nutcracker and Edith feels so beautiful in it. The bamboo pajamas are another favorite because they are so soft and the pajama prints are so playful and fun. Edith really wants the ribbon pajamas because she loves to wear hair bows, so those are next on our list to purchase.

8. Why do you continue to shop Pink Chicken? Pink Chicken is a wonderful mix of whimsy and sophistication. They have playful prints, twirls and ruffles that kids love, but also the classic, sweet styles that moms love for their daughters.
9. Feelings on being our 2023 Holiday Flock Star? Edith had so much fun being the Holiday Flock Star for 2023. It was such an honor especially for how much we love the brand. She absolutely loved the pink candy cane dress and has asked to wear it for all our Christmas events this year. She’s gotten so many compliments when she wears it.

10. How does Edie like to spend a weekend in Charleston? Our favorite family activity in Charleston is going shark tooth hunting. We have found hundreds of ancient fossilized shark teeth, some as small as a grain of rice and some as big as Edith’s 5-year-old hand! If anyone wants to visit Charleston and have a lesson in shark toothing, just let us know because we love to teach other families how to find them! We love to spend time on our boat where we watch for dolphins, go crabbing and toothing, ride on the inner tube and swim at the beaches around Charleston.
11. Tell us about some favorite sights & attractions? Beachwalker Park on Kiawah Island is our favorite local beach. The Belmond Charleston Place Hotel downtown has a gorgeous lobby which is perfect for photos and has fun little shops to visit. It’s near the Pink Chicken store, too! Candlefish is a fun shop with a candle making workshop that is so much fun! We also like to take a horse and carriage tour around town, but only when the weather isn’t too hot so we know the horses are comfortable - summer is Charleston is pretty humid! The Angel Oak Tree is a beautiful historic Live Oak tree in our hometown of Johns Island, we always take visitors there to learn some local history.

12. Do you have any Holiday traditions? Our Holiday traditions start with PJs and holiday movies! Everyone in our family puts on Christmas PJs and we cozy up for our favorite Christmas movies - Home Alone 1 & 2 and Elf are at the top of our list. We also like to send out Christmas cards to all our friends and family, and we check the mail every day for cards we receive. We punch a hole in the corner of each card and put them together on an o-ring so every year at Christmas we can look back at all the past Christmas cards of the people we love.
13. What is at the top of Edie's Christmas list this year? This year Edith asked Santa for a kitty stuffie and a chameleon Little Live Pet toy. She’s also hoping for some new puzzles and games that she can play with her brothers.
14. Anything else you would love to share? I also love to wear Pink Chicken women’s dresses, and this January, Edith and I will be in New York City for my cousins baby shower - so we plan to visit the Pink Chicken New York store! I’m obsessed with kids clothes and can honestly say that Pink Chicken is one of my all time favorite brands. Thank you for choosing Edith for the Flock Star, it’s been so fun for both of us!
